About Us
Nestled in the picturesque rolling hills, Demotown is a small town that’s big on charm and community spirit. With a population that can be counted on your fingers (and maybe a few toes), we take pride in our close-knit community where everyone knows each other’s quirks, pets, and favorite ice cream flavors.
We believe in celebrating the simple joys of life, like picnics under shady oak trees, chasing fireflies on warm summer evenings, and impromptu gatherings where everyone brings a dish that somehow involves cheese.
Here in Demotown, our rolling hills are more than just a scenic backdrop; they’re an invitation to explore the great outdoors. Whether you’re an avid hiker or prefer a leisurely stroll, our trails wind through breathtaking landscapes, offering glimpses of wildflowers, hidden waterfalls, and the occasional friendly cow who has wandered away from the neighboring farm.
Our community
Erwin Park is a great area closed to home for fun and exercise for the entire family!
Village Officials encourage everyone to use Erwin Park and its’ many free amenities.
The park is open from sunup until sundown, come and enjoy a game of tennis, basketball or volleyball or perhaps a relaxing picnic!
The newly paved 1/2-mile walking path is lighted for year ’round walking.
Walking trails with exercise stations are available for your enjoyment and fitness. Also available is a walking trail up and over scenic Park Hill leading to the BYAA ball fields (Robert Smith Sports Complex).
The playgrounds are a great place for the kiddos to climb and explore!
